Thanks mate.
Something happened as my dealer was filling in the paperwork, he gave me the dealership copy of information by mistake to read through and I saw the dealers margin here of 10.5% ($3100), thought it was interesting as I always wondered how much these guys make from a sale..

I also laid down my deposit today. I spoke to my local dealer today about the Jackets and he was going to look into it. I also tried to haggle with my dealer. The best I could do was $100 of the delivery and 20% off all accesories with purchase. A grand total of $31790 on road. Will have to see how much they are asking for genuine accessories. If they bump up the price of accessories like they have with the bike (compared to AUD$ exchange rate with US$) I will be purching all my accessories from the US. According to the South Aust and Northern Territory sales manager, if, for example, only 100
's are ordered only 100 will be made.

Yeah I'm with you. Was going to order a few bits with the bike but decided to wait until prices are released.

What I don't understand is how can a
cost $30 Grand in Australia and only $18 Grand in the US. The currency has the same value. Why do Australians have to pay so much more?

At that Aus price I am now getting my 5 from the US. I can air freight them and land them here cheaper than buying them here! Accessories are way cheaper too
