Alright Che, You are taking the bull by the horns and I respect that. I dont have any specific examples in mind but if a situation arises where you need a legit USA address to base any paper work through. I would be happy to act as a "PO Box" kinda thing. Like I said I dont know if that occasion would ever even happen. But should it, your covered if you want. Heh, It would be the closest Ill get to be involved with the new max. For awhile anyways. Just an offer. PM me if I can help in any way.

hey thanx heaps for the offer but I was born in the US in Az so I still have my American Citizenship so no worries with the address as I have family still there.

I thought the first run was around November for both countries? I also considered getting one imported but after being told by friends I could end up paying thousands more, I had to opt out..

Not 100% on this but I am pretty sure that even though the bike is essentially the same as the model we will get here in Oz you will not be able to comply and register it here. It might pay to get in touch with your local motor vehicle registry for confirmation on this.

I have done this before. I don't want a California model so I will be getting mine in another state. I will not be complying or registering it in Australia as I will not be riding it on the street and If I do occassionally I will use a trade plate.It is true about the delivery date being similar but the parts and other bits are expensive in Australia and as i said I do Have family in the US so I can kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

Latest info in Australia is that dealers are being swamped with phone enquiries on the new Max. There will be a launch when they get any bikes maybe late July? No price in Oz yet.
