WOW! Now this is getting ridiculous! The 70 Chevelle is my ALL time favorite, followed closely by the "Judge" (69 or 70). You guys have all the best toyz! Yes, I know the Chevelle hooks up where the Camaro spins Weight difference makes for quick catch-up tho.
Oh, and by the way, break down and spend some bux on a "High Torque" starter
My first car was a 1964 GTO w/400 H.O. motor & 4 speed out of a 68. Took me 3 mo. to turn it into an end table (about as long as) after smacking it into a steel sign pole at close to 140

come December. But, overall economic outlook is not looking very positive at local levels. I keep looking online to see if other parts of the country is less affected.
The collapse is global, Europe too are doing some kind of rescuing financial institutions.
Australia's leader made a comment last week about the US economy affecting the world. The US has 25% of the world's economy, that alone should tell you that everyone is affected greatly.
It's highly probable that many who placed their deposit on the
will not be able to get a decent rate, therefore some will likely default on their deposit.
I met someone at the dealership a few days ago who said he tried to get his deposit back, they told him that it was unrefundable.
Christmas usually accounts for about 80% of the annual business, if it doesn't pan out this Christmas, the economy will sink really fast and then you got to watch out.
The first time it appeared in a pic with the chopper I pointed out it was a clone.
It is a clone/copy/Recreation of one of the X-11 body code cars that was part of the second COPO order by Don Yenko. I used a
L-71 427 - 435 H.P. Corvette engine A-10-8(1968)Date code.
Muncie M-21 4 speed 12 bolt rear w/posi traction. Power steering and A/C. Everything is new or has been rebuilt, body and drive train.. This car has been a lot of fun and is a blast to drive. I have had a lot of "Muscle Cars" and this is one I intend to keep(Sorry Bad_Max)they are all nice to drive, But the true originals have become so valuable that the stakes have changed to drive them properly. The recreations have the ability to still own the streets. And COPO Chevys are next to impossible to find at, relatively speaking, reasonable prices.
Roger. And like I said Im not taking anything away from it. I think its waaaay cool. And I see what your saying about with this one you can take it out and have fun without contacting Lloyd's of London. But, I do think you should not let Bad know where you keep the keys to it.
SDPEARLY
Guess i missed that part about it being a clone. My last loveable rod was a 66 SS 396 Chevelle w/4 speed & 3.73 Spicer 12 bolt. I am a BIG MarkIV engine fan. I wore a Mr Goodwrench patch for 3 yrs. turning wrenchs at Buick, Chevy & Olds dealerships. Had access to full machine shop & dyno. I know too well, Big Block Chevy's make BIG power
If you see any GTO's rusting away in someones back yard.. Hollah at me.
