Had to take this for a ride.. 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Was at my buds house today, and took the Vrod for a ride. This 1 is definitely different in that its 100% Chrome & stainless! No paint to scratch here.. He has dropped the number of teeth on front sprocket and it is fast to 120. The 280 rear tire looks ridiculous but he likes it. Will get some better pics tomorrow when I pick up my new trailer. This V-Rod SCOOTS!

I have a transgression to admit to. Today, my birthday, I was feeling the urge to buy something for myself. I took the ole lady to see the Vrod and went for a short ride. I had half talked myself into canceling the max and buying this beautiful one of a kind Vrod. After riding 2 up for a few miles I wanted to feel this 115 RWHP and experience the power band. What can I say? It's a Harley Davidson, one that most Harley riders won't even claim. The bike is loud, somewhat fast, but mostly a show piece, complete with all Harleys vibrations, squeaky brakes, and over priced add ons. I am sorry, I deeply regret my thoughts and am now more convinced than ever before, the wait will be worth it. Yamaha has given us a cutting edge motorcycle, that mere mortals can purchase & enjoy. My immature need for instant gratification has subsided, and I will now wait quietly to take delivery of the ultimate power cruiser. Forgive me for I have sinned.
With $35k invested, he dropped all the way to 19k, and it would hold the resale value for a few yrs. yet, but it just isn't a

Thank goodness you didn't succumb to the whim, Bad_Max. You would have regretted it when we all get our bikes. The Vrod though good for a harley is a pale replacement for the
, imo. I would even take the warrior over the vrod.
