Re:BKing possibly discontinued in the US for 09 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
I've been to 2 different suzuki dealerships in the last 6 months and they both have one. The last one I was at just the other day has one and is down to only about 6-8 total bikes...they said sales have been that good, they can't get bikes in fast enough...but the BKing just sits.

Funny but two years ago I thought the B-King
was going to be my next bike for sure...until:
1. NO SUPERCHARGER (the prototype had one).
2. The price was HIGHER than a new Busa.
3. They DETUNED the engine.....
Hey Suzuki, "THREE STRIKES and you're OUT"!
Oh, that ugly exhaust.
4. THAT UGLY TAIL END VIEW.
Yep, the styling of that bike is second rate.
In my opinion I think car and motorcycle companies don't put enough emphasis on styling.
Most people makes visual design a very big factor when they purchase a vehicle. But I don't think companies know this.
Just take a look at car and motorcycle shows. No one knows the performance and specs of the vehicle, yet they flock to a good looking vehicle like flies on sh8.
Toyota got it, even their low end brand got good styling, unlike American car companies where they don't seem to put any effort in designing their low end cars.
No matter the monetary scale of the vehicle, no one wants to drive an ugly car.
But, I would purchase the B-King if I could get it for $8500 OTD. You can't beat the value for that price.

Not everthing is about money. If I buy something just because it's cheap I'll never really enjoy it. I know what I really want and try to get a good price for that product. There is a saying.

I know where you're coming from, but there is a balance.
For instance, the 09
, at 20K, too much for me.
I can get that same bike for less if I just wait, it won't be new, it will have some mileage on it, but it's the same bike.
Corporations have made it so that being the first to own it is a thing of status. Just like those people who paid for the first iPhone. When the price eventually went down by $100 dollars for the same exact phone, they were pissed. Yet, these iPhone owners got what they paid for, the previlege to show it off and have people gawk at it.
I may not enjoy the B-king as much as the
, but for $8500 OTD, man, I'll be enjoying it a lot more than if I paid 15K for it.

All is true. The price for the max is about $3000 less than you stated, but I hear you it's not cheap. I have a friend who ordered one and I think he needs to get out. He will give a great deal to who wants the bike.

I just approximated what is going to be added to the MSRP, you know, tax, handling & shipping, etc. My first quote I got from a dealer in SoCal was $21,218 OTD. The lowest OTD price I got is still at $19,500.
