I am soooo in love with my two beauties I cant believe it. When I decided I could'nt/should'nt get a 09 max I was sad for a bit. But then I got my Triumph and the two of my bikes together sure have made me a happy camper again. As happy as If I was able to get a 09? Who knows. But very happy. Im not in any way bragging. Im just saying to all that did not get one of the new ones... Love the one your with as the song says.

Well said. I'm not parting with my '95. It's still my 'love' ...

Two great bikes, SD. And yes, you're fortunate even to have the means to own one bike, let alone two and what bikes they are. Lots of people would like one, but can't afford even that one bike.
So count your blessings and be happy: live life to the MAX!
..yeah, Kodiak, I'm working on it. Never worked on a bike before. I'm taking advice from members on this forum.
So far I got these advice: Be patience, buy good Tools, and you can't go wrong with either Clymer or Haynes service manuals.
I went to the library to see about some books, they didn't have any on the 94 ZX9R. But they did have books on the zypher bikes, along with the Kawa service manual I used it to study the makings of the carbs.
HOPE ME LUCK, FELLAS! it's virgin territory for me.
For now I got all the way down to the carbs. I took it out today.
