Nothing to do with the new Max but wanted to share...I bought a '79 RD400 Daytona Special!
My friend had one and I used to ride it periodically back in the early eighties; what a blast. The two stroke smell and sound...
This one is the original owner, has only 8,500 miles, expansion chambers, aluminum swingarm and Fox shocks. I cannot wait to tinker with this thing! It'll keep me occupied 'till the new Max arrives!

That was the first "FAST" street bike I ever had/rode.
