I stopped by my dealer today to see what was up with delivery on Max. The sales manager, JJ (Josh Person) sat me down in his office and showed me 7 names that have ordered the 09  . After diligently checking Yamaha's website, he said 4 are scheduled for Dec. deliveries, with 1 in Jan, 1 in Feb, & 1 in March. He then checked with the regional sales manager, and could get no other confirmation. He said he was pretty sure no bikes had landed in the US yet, but was also fairly certain the first to get their bikes in the US would be on the West coast. Even tho I was hoping for more information, he assured me I would be the first to get a call when he knew the bikes were in transit to their dealership. I swear, this is the longest wait in history! Anyways, I thought I'd throw in some pictures of our local dealership here. They have gear, scooters, bikes, quads, atvs, and boats all in the main building, but there are 3 buildings at this location. I only included shots of it, and some of Yamaha's other products that sell well in Florida (boats & jetski's). Nice, friendly dealer with lots of toys under 1 roof

In a seperate area, they have old bikes under & around a Christmas tree

Anybody besides me remember the Honda 90? Couldn't kill that bike, sure wanted to tho

Have to mention the old 305 "Dream" they have on display also (mine was black)

Seems like a very nice store with lots of fun-goodies. I unzipped your photographs. It surprised me that he has lots of scooters for sale as well. I wouldn't have thought Americans would go for that sort of transportation. Or is it just the kids?

Anyway, quads are not very common in our country. Thanks for the pics.

They do sell lots of scooters for the city, but you don't see a single one going up the mountains.
