I did look at Can-Am, but for the same price as the new , I quickly reconsidered.

I was looking at the "Raider" myself. Somehow I don't think they appreciated my own Raider

That's the price now for the Cam-Am, but back when I was researching it was about the same, at the end of the day.

If it was only the exhaust, then no big deal. Many of us will find a way to replace it anyways

He was kind of guarded when I asked him about it. He said it could have been some part like heat shields, but eluded that Star wasn't happy with the sound. That's not surprising.

I'm really starting to think that they read these forums too

They probably do, it don't matter how many of us will leave the stock pipes on anyway? Until the after market guys get their hands on it and some one comes up with one and max can drop thirty lbs. There are more sensors for sensors on this thing it would take a computer geek a long time to figure this out. I have the other ecu on order now, i believe yamaha already knows how this thing functions why wait when someone makes a pipe im ready.
What do you guys think???

Well, IF that's the true Reason.

Sure there will be a Lot of Folks going to another Muffler Option.

But you have to look at the Point Yamaha sees this. They built and sell a Product and what they deliver has to be the Way they want it to have. Nothing else. Because there is their Name on it.

It's like ... Wow, what a messy Paint Job you've done there ?

and Yamaha answers you ...

Well, we figure it doesn't matter to you anyway, because we know almost everyone is going to repaint the Bike anyway.
