Re:Bless me, for I have sinned 6 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I too have sinned and would like to use this thread to confess. I went out and bought a V Rod. I would also like to hang around here as that all blacked out custom V Max is growing on me. Maybe I'll buy a used one in the future. So can we traders still hang out here?
PS. Jayhawk that avatar is kinda creepy. Congats on the new bike.

Always welcome. You can keep us honest - well, at least try...
Congrats on a nice bike!. I have the feeling, eventually you will be back on the dark side...

Haven't gotten it home yet. I pick it up on Monday. Can't wait to fire it up and start breaking her in.
Kind of a funny story. Just getting ready to leave after dropping a deposit, the owner of the dealership came over and said, "Congrats on the buying the B-King!"
I'm sure the owner expected some sort of pleasantry to be replied, but instead, I said, "I bet you guys are glad to get rid of this."
He stopped, looked at me funny, then got a big grin on his face and said, "Well, they have been hard to sell."
We then had a real discussion about the bike, what kind of a niche product it is, and because it hasn't been selling well, why I was able to make such a good deal, so easily. Probably not the conversation he expected, but he turned out to be a straight up guy.
Honestly, I think I would have had to pay more for a 'Busa that stickers for $1,000 less than the B-King. I'm going to buy a five year warranty from Suzuki and ride the stuffin' out of it. (Not necessarily hard, but lots of miles.) I'll let you know how it goes.

Jayhawk, I can't tell you how many times I've sat on that bike at the dealership, but still holding off for the max I bet that bike will be worth a pretty penny many years from now, people will realize what a unique bike it was . p.s. i 'm curious how good was the deal? If you don't mind saying !!

Bike stickers for $12,899, and I got it for just over $11k, + TTL. I think that's right at dealer's cost, perhaps $100 over.
I envy you holding out for the Max, I would have rather had one. But, I think I'll ride this one for a couple of years (if I can hold out), make someone a good deal on a bike with three years of warranty left, then snag a Max. It will be interesting to see the shootouts between the B-King and the
in the bike magazines, and it will be interesting to see what, if anything, Suzuki does with the B-King.
