Nice photoshopping Jumpback. Gives it a whole new look.
Here is a pic of My dad. 71 1/2 he has had 2 Vmaxes and is still going strong. Retired in South FL.now still has a Hotrodded Harley
He complains about the straight flat roads and the bad drivers.
He gets up to visit me often and always goes right for his old Triumph we have owned this Tiger since new (1970). He will be the only one allowed to ride my new Max.
I was born in 1954 and am currently 54 years old (how time flies, right). Been riding since Feb. 1996, Virago 750 (1996),
(1997),
(2004), YZF Thundercat (2001), MV Agusta Evo F4 (2003).
Still own the MV. That bike won't go anywhere in my lifetime...
43, Started with dirt bikes at age 10, 85YZ, 125Yz... then at age 18 moved to the street, 650 NIghthawk (my only non-yamaha), 650 Maxim... then my first
in 1985! Drove it till 1998... then my wife made me sell it... she is gone, time for a new bike... always wanted to get another
, but felt like the new one was coming next year... took 8 years longer than I thought
62 & been at it since 1958. Can't remember how many, but some of the more memorable ones were a Honda 305 Superhawk (domestic model), Virago 1100, couple VTX 1800's, an '02 Warrior (Stage IV), and 5 Max's. Still have the second one, a semi-custom 98. The first was also a '98 but a bimbo on drugs took care of that with a Hundyai. In addition to the '98, have an '05 VRSCA and an '04 VRSCA trike. Got a spot all cleared out in the garage for the '09. HURRY NOVEMBER!!
I BE 39 FIRST VEHICLE WAS A BIKE 250 EXCITER THEN WENT TO THE DIRT WITH A YZ-250, I STRETCHED THE SWING ARM AND WENT HILL CLIMBING AND SOME MOTO-CROSS, ON THE STREET I OWNED A CB-650 THEN A V-45 MAGNA THEN A 1987 MAGNA, OF COURSE THEN A V-65 MAGNA 1983 MODEL, AND A COUPLE OTHERS. OVER THE YEARS APROX 80,000 MILES UNDER MY BELT.
THE INTERESTING THING IS; BACK IN 1985 I WENT TO MY LOCAL DEALER TO BUY A
PRIOR TO OWNING A MAGNA AND HE WAS A FAMILY FRIEND AND EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE CASH HE WOULDNT EVEN LET ME DEMO THE BIKE MUCH LESS BUY IT. SAID HE WOULD LIKE TO SEE ME AROUND A WHILE LONGER. HE WAS PROBABLY RIGHT, BEING A TEEN AT THE TIME, WE HAD NO FEAR. WELL NOW HE IS GONE, BLESS HIS SOUL, AND HIS SON OWNS THE BUISINESS, WHICH IS WHERE I BOUGHT THE MAX, HE SAID HE REMEMBERS AND THAT WE ARE BOTH A BIT OLDER AND SMARTER NOW.
IM A FARM BOY!
I was born the same year as VMaxBabe, 1954 or in Japaneese: Showa 29.
(29th year of the reign of Hirohito).
Started with a Honda Sport 65 in 1968 then had a Harley Rapido (125 ) then got a '68 Kawasaki H1 Mach III, then a '72 Kawa H2, after that I was without until a 1981 Kawa KZ1000 Ltd and a Yamaha 400 Enduro. Then again, no bike for years until 1992 Yamaha Seca II followed by my current 1994
.
I made a couple of videos on a bet at some other forum.
It's not quite a shrug but lifting the weight alone with bare hands takes some kind of strength in the knees, lower back, arms, shoulder, legs, etc.
These videos were taken about 2 years ago, I can now dow 9 plates plus a 10, the bar will not take anymore weights. And I'm now at 170 pounds, down from 185.
I don't know how many bikes I had, but curretly got an 02
and a 94 ZX9R.
