I pulled the book out again. I was wrong, it is not paperback. It is hardcover. Still would rather have a coupon or patch or shirt or something. Who knows maybe I am just more of the pop-up book kind of guy. hehe.

Got my book today as well. I thought it was a classy touch.

Supposedly mine is due to arrive this month, but I have no idea if receiving the book (although the letter states "arriving soon" ) correlates to imminent delivery.

I'd post my claim number but never got one from my dealer.

I got rid of my 2007 Yamaha Attack and went back to my Polaris 2-strokers. I got the new 2009 Dragon 800 SP. It should be a great sled. I already got to ride that around the yard. Unless the  comes with a 15 inch wide track, I will be putting in the living room for a few months.

Kind of makes a guy wonder if they are sending all books out now and some bikes later or if all the books and bikes are coming now. I ordered my bike from the shop I work at on 10-08-08 and got my book and letter on Saturday the 27th of November. My order was placed very late so I wonder why all the people with claim #s ahead of me have not received this package yet. Many dealers ordered these bikes under false names just to get the order out and I have to think that this is the problem. If any of you guys ordered these bikes and didn't get claim #s or haven't received your books yet I would be on the phone with Yamaha Motor as soon as possible and see what is going on. I hope that these dealers that are selling bikes that they ordered for themselves don't try to cut you out of the picture for someone that is willing to pay more than you are when this motorcycle arrives. Things will get crazy when all the world knows how really cool this bike is so make sure you do an extra check or two to ensure your but is in the seat. Better safe than sorry.

I received my book and letter yesterday. (12-1-08) I was expecting Feb. / March delivery also.

I got my book and letter today, although it was delivered yesterday to my father-in-law. Letter is dated 11-07-08. Talked to my dealer today and he said something had changed it the computer, but not to expect the bike in the next 10 days. My number is 261637. December delivery.

Hey!!!!! I got my book today....
I was getting nervous seeing everyone getting a book....
I live in Massachusetts and the book came from California(no post mark)..
Very nice book!!!
Guess I'll just wait for the call from the dealer now...

I was told a while ago "Jan. delivery date"...

I was fortunate enough to get a  banner from the salesperson before SHE got laid off for the winter....


I'm sure it'll be worth the wait..........

I got my book this morning and what I think is my  this afternoon! They told me its ready for pickup. My claim is 261578, seems kinda high compared to everyone elses number. But I'll take it!!!!!!
