Go for it man! It's probably another smart dealer that ordered 1 for store.

I received my book on 12-2-08. Very nice reading. I am scheduled for a December delivery date also. My claim number is 261771. I have not heard anything from my dealer. They dont know anything over there. They keep telling me to hang in there.. When I put my $1000 deposit, they told me I would know my delivery date in two to three weeks.. What a joke.. I quit asking them. Hope its soon now though..Cant wait much longer.

Just received book today. My delivery is scheduled for Feb. #263614, kinda looks like may get a little earler than that by the ay things have been going recently, who knows? Keepin fingers crossed! Dealer has one on floor for sale now. If anyone is interested let me know.

Got my book Nov 29th. Fed up waiting for Yamaha to deliver my bike though so I cancelled my order. I'll pick one up later.

Well I got my book and letter back on November 28th, funny that the letter was dated Nov 7th. My dealer, All Sports Yamaha & Triumph in Decatur, AL just called me today and let me know that Steven's (Owner of shop)  which was ordered on the 6/4 under 261305 (I think) just came in on Tuesday 12/2 and they had it put together and on the floor of his dealership. My order was on 6/6 under 261571 and he still tells me that whomever they call can only tell them it is still scheduled to be in sometime this month. He said something about a big shipment going out on 12/12 so he thinks it will be in sometime very shortly after that. I tell him that he should be able to find/locate exactly if my bike has been shipped and to what distribution center it will be coming in on (Atlanta, GA probably) since everyone at this forum seems to be able to get their dealer to get this information somehow (I wish I knew of some person & number I could call to track my bike down). He simply tells me that all that exact delivery information and the supposedly dealer ability to get it ... is nothing but BS and that they will only give him some general information but nothing specific or exact. So I don't know who or what to believe on this delivery status subject. He also had originally told me that if his bike came in first that he would switch bike orders with me so that I could have the first bike in the area ... then suddenly long after I had put my deposit down .... he comes back and tells me that it is "impossible" for him to switch the bikes .. something to do with the serial number, registrations and warranty issues being all specially assigned to the specific owner. So all of a sudden I was stuck getting the second bike coming in. I didn't really believe all the BS he was telling me but I has no other choice unless I wanted to loose my deposit and re-order from some other dealer. I am really hoping to get my  before Christmas as we plan to take a pic and make a Christmas card out of it to send to our friends. Hope everyone is enjoying their new bikes, let me know if there is any real person and/or number I can call to get any "real, honest, factual" information about my  .

Got my book last week with letter dated 11/07/08. Claim # 26158. No word on bike delivery.

Reason for letter dated 11/07 is that 12/07 would have been inappropriate.

I got my book yesturday. Dealer is saying Jan. To be honest it doesn't really matter in Ohio until the end of March and I have a few other bikes..

Received my book yesterday 12/3/08 claim # 262079. No word on delivery date.
