OK the dealer called to give me the figures. They contacted their three wholesalers they deal with and only one would take it. They will only go $8800.00 for my showroom 310 mile VRSCDX. The guy was going to give $10,000.00 but then called back shortly and said Harley-Davidson just announced a big rebate on this model! I need to find out about that because I just picked in up last month. I will be bummed out about that if that is the case. I have never seen the Black and Orange Church offer rebates! NADA on my bike is $14,125 low retail and $17,205 average retail. Kelly Blue Book does not have the figures for it yet. I think it should sell for in the middle of NADA because that's what dealers all use and I find that if more accurate than KBB.

This is not a show stopper though. After, I picked up the Night Rod Special last month, a few of my friends said they wanted one too and were going to buy in the spring so I will see if they want it. I have been doing business with this dealer for like 30 something years and they love me so everything is cool. F.Y.I. there is 30 days free flooring on the 09  so it is not costing them a anything to sit on it for me until I fork over the cabbage. It would have been nice to get on it today but it was not meant to be.

The bike is spectacular though! I am so pumped!
