Does anyone know the waiting list number scheme? They might not even be sequential.

In the sample claim form, the claim number is 261### dated 6/4/2008. I placed my deposit 6/5/2008 and have #261444.

This to me would signify that you are #444 on the waiting list.

Or number 1444 on the list, which seems high to me. If the 261xxx is constant, there's only room for 999.

I need to check mine. If we get enough numbers we might be able to guess it. Mine was entered on 6/4 as well.

Thanks for the info on the Priority delivery claim form. I called the dealership where I made my deposit on 6/5 and asked if I could get a copy, I got the impression that the Salesman was just going to wait until one showed up and it would be mine. I got a little irate and threatened to cancel my check and go to another Dealership and I kept asking for the Claim number and all of a sudden the salesman started putting me on hold and transferring me around, I finally ended up talking to the Head Sales Manager who said he would get it right away. Hopefully I didn't miss the boat!

I don't see a reason for any numbers to be constant. After the 999, the next number would be 262000 and so on. Either the 26 stands for something other than a number or they just started with a number that doesn't look small and unimportant. I'm sure they have their reasons and it's not just a flip of the coin.

I ordered on 6-04-08 and my claim number is 261355

Hi, I ordered mine the morning of June 5th and yesterday my dealer gave me my number, 261407. Can hardly wait until late October or early November to get it! But then again, living in Michigan I might have to enjoy it in the basement until Spring!!

6-05-08 am is 261407
6-05-08 noon is 261444

Man, those first 355 went fast but that might include all special use / promotional bikes.
