Street lights timed for 35 mph are also timed for 70 mph.

I'm the guy that'll be sneaking out of my bedroom at three o'clock in the morning to look at my bike.

Ha ha ha! LOL

Had to blow off some steam?!

It is surprising with how little or bad customer service these dealers survive. Can you image you would run your own shop treating every customer with respect and professionalism? That would be one successful company!
I can't complain though, my local dealer does just that. 'Only' bought 2 bikes there but they are excellent. Any question, issue they will look into right away and will tell me if they don't know something right away rather than guessing. They are also readin they Yamaha bulletins every morning - imagine that!

That's why I went to them for the site discount. If you have not seen it is here:
www.starvmax.com/Forum/Site-News-Article...San-Jose-Yamaha.html

BTW: I have been on a business trip since last Thu. I am in Europe and FAR away from my claim form. I remember its a 2613xx number, but not precisely. Not a game changer though. I am almost certain that I am not the lowest one, and most other numbers that have been posted are higher.

I'd like to see another recent update with numbers from today. That would allow us the re-estimate the sale-out date...

I just got off the phone with Yamaha in California and wanted to know if my dealer actually got me in line officially, since he didn't know what he was doing in the first place. So just to make sure, they traced me down and found my number (that the dealer never knew). 261443 which was at 3pm on the forth of June that I delivered the money. I'm just glad I'm in and not waiting forever because others didn't have a clue.

Wow, three of us (mikemax04, vboost69, me)are very close in line. I think from my dealer that the number isn't obtained until something is in the hands of a regional Yamaha rep. That (I guess) puts dates out of sequence (or numbers). I've kept the numbers in sequence:

Totals:
Kodiak 261334 on 6/4
92vmax has 261335 on 6/4/08
6-04-08 1pm PST is 261361
6-04-08 is 261367
6-05-08 am is 261407
6-05-08 noon is 261429
6-4-08 261441 (vbooost69)
6-4-08 3pm is 261443 (mikemax04)
6-05-08 noon is 261444 (HuecoDoc)
6-06-08 3pm is 261566
6-06-08 or 6-7 is 261582 (drinnen)
