I had not (except on accident, sorry 92vmax ) changed what number/date people had reported, such as 261407 and 261429. If anything, those who report 6/4 but have numbers occuring after someone who made their deposit 6/5 likely had their info submitted late by the delar, on 6/5. At least that is more likely than VMaxChuck (6-05-08 am is 261407)and QuickSEV6(6-05-08 am is 261429) having there info placed early by their dealers.

Time will tell how much any of this matters.

Hey yamadude is 261566. It will be fun to see how these all hash out and when they start coming in. Everyday when I see a picture of it I just like it more and more. There are several cool videos on youtube under 2009 .

Can't wait to see this new show up. It's going to be fun!

Don't think they will arrive totally in order of the claim numbers. As Yamaha is in CA it would make CA deliveries the quickest. They will also batch up bikes to similar destinations rather than delivering 1 bike at a time. Those within 100-200 numbers should expect them within +-2 weeks I would guess.

I and my brother put deposits down on 2 of them; we are in NC. Claim numbers are 261363, created on 6/4/08 @ 2:58:27 PST and 261365, also created on 6/4/08 but a few minutes later @ 3:02:44 PST. Looks like somebody else slipped in between us.
Needless to say we will be thrilled to get them this fall like everybody else!!!! I'll likely sell one of my '85s to help with the higher purchase price of this one than most of us thought would be the case.

Yes but Oliver we are all envious of you. You got to throw a leg over it and here it run. Do the pictures do it any justice? Did it make your heart race when you seen it? On the video you took it doesn't sound any different than the old Max. Does it sound different in person? I know I am so stinkin excited I can barely wait. I am bikeless right now and that makes it worse.

Did anyone ever consider that the bikes might have started at 261300? I believe the lowest number recorded from a member here is 261334 which was only shortly after they anounced the bike on the 4th. It would make sense as the first 30 or so were because a few dealers ordered units themselves plus maybe a few demo or magazine test bikes.

I would think that more than 34 bikes would be taken by dealers/employees, but 334 does seem like too many.
