Bad_Max - Do you know anything about the brand? It is expensive, the question is - is it worth the high $$? or is there something out there better for the same $$?

Thank you for the prompt reply.

I'm giving it a good look. It's not that expensive, compared to the Nolan i am looking at. the N-Com add on for it is $389!

Also a word of caution:

Most of these communication systems are made for bike where you sit behind a large screen and have whisper quite pipes. I have yet to find one that does a decent job at 80 mphs when the wind is blowing hard around your Helmet . You can't hear much, unless you have in ear speakers (the one inside a Helmet are pretty much useless at these speeds) and you need an active noise cancellation setup with at least 2 microphones (one in front of your mouth - the second behind the head) to cancel out all the wind noise or nobody will understand a word you are saying.

I'm more interested in a good system that will allow me to answer my phone, than an intercom. Do they work alright for answering a cell phone? thats my main concern.

Did not mean to talk about intercom only. Its a sound problem for most all of them. Whether you want to listen to music, use it as an intercom or speak on a cell phone. Unless you plan to slow down to 20mph and cruse in high gear, most systems won't be able to deal with all the noise. You won't hear a word what the other guys says (intercom or cell) and they will just hear a roar.

There are only 1 or 2 upscale aftermarket systems that deal with the noise issues. Don't remember their brands right now...

Fxstein - when you find the systems you are referring to, please enlighten the rest of us. I would rater spend the money once and get a working product. I would expect to have the system working properly between 80-100mph.

P.S. I want to tie the cell phone, navigation system, and the Helmet -to-helmet system.

Well, for my modular "Flip Face" i found one I really like. After reading all the comparisons, the AGV stood next to the Shoei for all around good Helmet . I like the color also, a metallic silver w/black accents should go nicely with mr Max's general look
