But then again he is good finding the right stuff on eBay. He might spend the same amount for 5 pieces as some others will spend on a single piece going into a local shop buying at retail...

No doubt! eBay, here I come!!!

Exactly, If I spend $500 on Jacket and $500 on Helmets , another $500 on Pants, Boots , gloves, etc. I'll end up with as much as some people pay for a full suit and decent Helmet . If I end up with too much, or something that doesn't fit? I'll post it in our "items for sale" section at whatever i paid and maybe some of our members here can grab something at a deal, they other wise may not have bought. Like i said, we have 3 months to "gear up" for the Max and finding quality stuff at a deal will make the wait a little more fun
I had to grab the black Icon too for $100

I also have the Black Icon Super Duty in 2XL that I'm going to list on EBAY tonight. It's a great Jacket .
I've had it since new for 8 months, and wore it probably 3 times in January, and just as the vest....the leather arms zip off.
I just cannot get into wearing equipment in the Florida heat.
Post me any REASONABLE offer.

How is that for collecting lint? I heard it's pretty bad.. Also, don't forget by the time of delivery it will be winter here If it's too hot come winter, you'll see these posted in our items for sale, and I bet our northern members will appreciate the deals then

That was my first concern also when I looked at it, and all the reviews. But I never had any problems, but like I said only wore it a couple times and hung in the closet.

But it is like a black denim, so it is easy to clean with a lint brush.

I used to wear a Bandit back in the 80s. Mostly when riding my Seca 750.
The Helmet looked pretty cool, but offered less protection than other full face at the time and suffered from a lot of wind noise.

I used a white HJC with gold iridium? shield (looked like some kind of NASA spacesuit lid) for rides on my '95 I bought at FM Cycles...BTW...Jay "WFO" Gleason set it up for me. I'm not sure if he or "Beemer" still work at that shop???
Anyway, that Helmet sits on the shelf.

Today, I'm still using the Arai Quantum/e I bought in '97 for riding my '97 YZF1000R, '98 R1, '98 .
I'm also wearing a Phoenix 4.0 Jacket , Phoenix 3.0 Gloves, jeans, and work Boots . The Phoenix 4.0 makes the FL sun a bit more bearable.

I have a nice set of First Gear Pilot Jacket /Pants/Boots/Kevlar Gloves on the shelf I wore a few times on my '98 ...too hot for all but Winter riding.

Although I like the Arai , I'll probably pick up a new Shoei RF1000 in Metallic Black to go with the new .

Thank you for the tip. However, not all items qualify. I tried to buy gloves, but got the following message:

Sorry, this item is not eligible for cashback.
This offer requires you to check out on eBay / PayPal but this seller requires a third-party checkout. See conditions
