You are right, this requires Paypal since Microsoft uses Paypal and the eBay checkout to track the cash-back coupon. Hope it will still help some of you. This is FREE cash laying on the table - so to speak...
In regards to the cashback program from live.com, my roommate and I set up 3 "auctions" last week-the rate was 25% then. We did a buy-it-now for each one setting the price @ $1000 each enabling us to receive the maximum cashback of $250 each for a total of $750---minus the ebay/paypal fees of about $70 each, netting a profit of $180 each. Multiply times three auctions-- netting a profit of $560. It does, however, take 60 days before you can cash out your cashback account. Sorry for hijacking this thread, but this is defiantly money on the table!!!!
It is fully legit. Ebay gets their cut, paypal gets their cut and msn live gets what they want- more traffic on their search engine, and I get a slice of the pie too. If it was shady, I would never have posted anything--just trying to share some knowledge.
Picked up the Cortech today, I think it's gonna be a toss up between it and the AlpineStars for my fav. Nice looking serious protection while on Mr Max
