check out this link from Yamaha UK ON BOARD QUARTER MILE!!!
on the right side of the screen click on square #5 . though the launch is slightly cut and the "professional" rider seems to back off the throttle in the last 300 feet you can get a pretty good idea of the quarter mile run. I'm too comfortable and lazy to go get my stopwatch .Looks like a high 10sec. run..maybe someone can time the run an give a better rough estimate.check out other pages of the Yami UK sight re 09 Max good stuff..

Finally got up off my butt and got the stopwatch out . In clip#1 which is the crane view I come up with a 9.80 there is one edit from the start line camera over to the finish line camera. I am assumeing that it is edited properely. The sound track sounds correct.. In clip #5 I came up with a 10.50 this one was a little tougher to estimate the launch. Either way both very respectible runs.

9.79 @ 145 MPH.
With 4 ECUs, wouldn't some sort of "Launch Control" be a cool way to reduce wheel spin!
