I called the above number today and spoke with a very cheerful young girl. She took my order number and put me on hold for about three full minutes and came back and said my unit would be shipped in the month of January. (#262199 ordered on 07/09/08) She related that their policy is that they do not divulge any real specific details as to exactly when or how to avoid theft of the bikes.
I would recommend to anyone if you have a claim number and nobody seems to know how to tell you when your bike will ship, call the number supplied by Bwinston.

I spoke with SCR this morning at the 800 number. The Rep stated 2 things:
1. SCR does not have any access to any sales information at ALL and;
2. She asked a Sales Rep that happened to be there and he said that no 2009
motorcycles would be delivered before the March/April timeframe of 2009.

My only guess if you called the number above and got that response is that maybe they are getting flooded with calls asking them to look up their orders. I gave them my claim number and they told me my delivery month. You could try calling your dealer. Thanks to the information from this site provided by Baxeaves, We were able to get the delivery month to show up on his computer. Have him go to their dealer site. There is a menu where they click on the model of bike and it will go to a screen that shows all pending orders for that model bike. It will have the date ordered, the customer's name and then next to it a thumbnail Icon for a .PDF file which if you click on it, will be your Invoice which shows your claim number (You should already have a copy of that). If you find the line with your order and go all the way to the far right on the screen, there will be a box with a month in it. That will be your delivery month.
I am sorry that the customer service people didn't help. I am sure they have access to it because they asked me the dealer I ordered from, confirmed it was a
, and found my claim number. I am sure they just did the same thing my dealer can do, they just needed to know what dealer to look under. I hope that helps.
