Has anyone as of yet actually received any accessories for their new
. It would be interesting to know if so, and how long did it take to arrive at your dealer. If it hasn't arrived, did your dealer give any insight into how long it will take to get accessories and remark as to their availability/production numbers. Please, share your experience.

Yes received mine yesterday, consisted of DVD, glossy softback book and a silver coloured plate which no doubt will fit the bike some where with my name on it in very small letters. Personally I would have prefered to see the bike and try it for size to see if it fits the taller rider. Delivery promised for November but question mark over it in the current financial climate, so the longer the delivery time for me the better.

Congratulations on receiving the package and I know what you mean about the finance part of it all. That plate will likely go on the left side as depicted in the photo.

I tried to order some yesterday... Billet Cam Cover Set, Billet Swing Arm Pivot Cover Set, and Short Passenger Backrest.
But the dealer would not take the order after checking with Yamaha/Star... they said was no inventory and no estimated ship dates... Told me to call back in a week or two...

My dealer allowed me to as a pre-order or basically in the computer put the parts on backorder. He told me that was the only way that would put me in line for when the inventory arrives then I will be in line already to get the items I requested. It can be done, I observed it in their system and they gave me an invoice. What I told them was I was concerned on how many of each item they are going to make and I didn't want to miss out. Ask your dealer if they can put it on backorder.

I don't seem to have been able to find the extras. What extras are you guys odering are you state side?
Are the extras shown on this site if so prehaps you could direct me to them.
I do like the all black silencers but where do you get them and whats the cost?

There is also billet aluminum Master Cylinder Covers as well as a race only Electronic Control Unit (ECU) that is not currently on the website but will be available. To see these, click on the below link and view message #15318;
The black mufflers that you see in some of these photos of custom bikes are black chromed and at present would be a custom endeavor. You would have to seek out a company who would take your stock mufflers (silencers) and have them refinished in black chrome.

I would love to order the carbon fiber scoops but it would be like when I ordered the speedstar pipe for my warrior, Backordered for 6 months while they have my money.
I'm not shelling out for the scoops so they can keep my money until they come in 6 months from now.

If your dealer is cool, he can order them on your behalf. I have about $1300 worth of stuff on order and haven't paid a dime. See if you can get them to either wait until the parts come to pay as a favor to you being a good customer buying an expensive motorcycle or at least until the bike actually arrives and have them roll the cost of the parts in with the price of the bike. You may be able to negotiate a discount that way. Its worth asking. Most dealers want to keep their customers happy.
