You can simply click the unsubscribe button on top of the very first post. It will take you off the email list.
I am working on a fix for you guys to select the default. Unfortunately the forum software in combination with another module has an issue. Once I get home I can also unsubscribe you from all threads if you want.

Sorry vmaxbeast, the past two weeks have been soooo busy, I barely got to sleep. Didn't help to get invited to the release of the
(it was great!) and then have to fly to Europe for 4 days. Just got home last night and my internal clock is upside down.

Ok folks - Here is the first MAJOR improvement:
When you go to your profile you will now see below the map/info/gallery a new section that lists all your subscriptions, favorite threads as well as the last 20 post made by you.
You can unsubscribe individual threads or click the unsubscribe from all check box.
Same for your favorite threads.
That should make it very easy for you guys to unsubscribe from topics you don't want to get bothered by.
I am still working on giving you a choice for the default whether to subscribe or not.
Might have accidentally deleted existing signatures. The new code forced me to reinstall that plugin. My apologies!
The next feature I will add is to only send you 1 email for a change on a thread if you are subscribed, but no more until you come back to the site for a visit. So even if 10 people post while you are gone, it will only send you 1 email. Once you come back to visit, it will rest the cache and you are again getting a notification for the very first post after you left.
