Great photos! Now we have an idea how the seating, steps, handlebars, etc are related to one another in regards to the old Max. As you stated: pretty much as on the old one. That's good news. Thanks a lot for this info!

I thought that I had read that the new Max was roped off and no one could sit on it. I am glad to see you were able to sit on it. Did you by chance have to show anything (priority claim order form)? I am planning on going to NC. to see it, and would love to sit on it! Thank you very much for the pics. they answer a ton of questions for me.

I don't think so - at least not during the initial shows. You can sit on it but can't ride them.

Might want to check with Yamaha/Star customer support. Since Sturgis is later this summer, maybe the will have rides. I really don't know.

I live in North Alabama, so my choice is to go up to the Indianapolis viewing or the North Carolina viewing but I am wondering ... will I have to pay some kind of ticket or entry fee to see this bike at the Indianapolis 500 speedway??? The event in NC looks like some kind of Barbecue so I doubt that I would have to pay anything to view the bike there. Does anyone have any detailed info about the showing up in Indianapolis, IN at the raceway as this would be the closest location for me????
