So what do you think about the short impressions video from Laguna Seca's Moto GP race? Did it give you a new perspective? Did you see something that you have not before? Have you tried downloading the HD version to get the video in full screen high resolution?

Thanks Oliver! No telling what the rear springs are set to, but looked a little soft when you bounced on it. I'm the same heighth as you, (heavier) and you looked right at home on it. Not too big, nor did you dwarf it like I did the old Max. The HD video is way kool! Too bad they wouldn't let you get some of it running Another www.StarVmax.com exclusive! Thanks!

Glad you guys like it. Just a quick and dirty video.
Rear was set to lowest pre-load. Felt actually very similar to the bounce of a Warrior, which is a good handling bike.

Just awesome, Oliver....Good to have you as an insider. Or at the very least someone who can go to the events that the bike shows up at. I doubt the display bike makes it to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Come on November!!!

Seeing the bike at ground level with you on it and people around it, in a video helped me realize the symmetry and proportions it has. My appreciation of this bike continues to grow.
Thanks for the video.

Oliver,
Thanks for the extra effort once again!
We had our local car and bike show this past weekend and I was able to display the new VMAX banner, (my dealer gave me) so the locals got a taste of the new MAX. I also ran my 92 VMAX during the radar runs at the airport Saturday night. I ran 121mph top speed in the 1/4. Which equates to high 10's or low 11's.
(High elevation of 5000 ft. I was very pleased ...great way to spend my birthday! :o) )
RE: the new VMAX...Oliver
Did the bike feel too small? How do yo think the riding position differs from the legacy?
I'm 6'2" 210 and hope that it gives more room to stretch out when cruising. Are there mounts for crash bars?
Also, when you were on the midway when the bike was running did you try the horn or hear it? If so, what did it sound like?
Thanks again for a great new vantage point on the new VMAX.
Rick

Great shots FX - How tall are you?
I'm 6ft with straight bars on my 02VMax - improves the riding position and handling for me - how do you think the 08max would feel with straight bars?
