New VMax sculpture in Long Beach |
VMax Awakens Sculpture A few weeks ago, Yamaha brought the V-Max Awakenings sculpture, originally on display at the Tokyo Motor show, into the US. The model went on display at the International Motorcycle show in Long Beach, CA. For a few days, the V-Max Awakenings art sculpture was able to be seen by the public.
For Yamaha to bring this several hundred pound piece of metal to the US, presents a major commitment to the new VMax. In fact during an interview with the media, Bob Starr - General Manager for Marketing of Yamaha US - made some bold statements: He promised to deliver a Next Generation VMax within the very near future, offline he also pointed out the usage patterns of the rear tire coming off of one of the test motorcycles. Yamaha is clearly taking the new VMax through its paces.
