My V-max 2009 is very very noisy, the front cylinder valve train is incredibly noisy (clic, clic,clic, clicccccccccccccccc .......) and the crankshaft-clutch gearing make a noise like if Yamaha engineer are not able to do good mechanic. After manu complaint and a registered letter to Yamaha, the dealer replace front exhaust camshaft because automatic decompressor unit have fail. After that, the engine become quiet for some kilometers and after that, the noise reappear, same problem. My opinion is that automatic decompressor system is design like garbage.
