Pipes, pipes, pipes. 

Seems like these days I have only pipes on my mind. Since the H-Pipe design (similar to the Akro) did not perform nearly as good as the original X-Pipe, and a custom exhaust project had to progress, a new mid pipe design was born this weekend. 

Its a homage to Mike's X-Pipe design - just with a twist.

Its a more classical X-pipe design but made as a 4 into 2 merge collector. The design is a bit longer than the original X-Pipe - hence the after market muffler requirement for this mid pipe.

This week we will run the pipe on the dyno to find out just how good the setup works. Lots of attention and detail went to the inside of the pipe. Perfectly ported joints and the 4-2 merge collector should flow ample amounts of exhaust gases. 

Entire design is made from stainless and will soon turn into a nice brown and blue by the time we are done on the dyno.

Custom fitted mufflers round out the setup. More pics of the mufflers on the bike when all the cleanup is done and I have good daylight for full bike shots.
