Got a few hours today to work with the auto-tune. And a lot of work it was. It's a sensitive piece of technology, that can ruin your day as quickly as it can help you get your maps customized.
The biggest learning for me was that for a really good map with the auto-tune, I had to run gear by gear and eliminate deceleration from the auto-tune processing.
The gear by gear part, eliminates the 'noise' of the lowest gears from the overall map. Not sure the lower gear mapping is getting extra performance, but it definitely helps to keep the higher gear maps 'clean'.
