I was told by my dealer that there was no video given to new owners of the gen2 max. Is this true, I seem to have heard somewhere it was part of the package with the book and # plates. I bought my bike in Canada brand new, special order. Has anyone received a video out there?

I think the video you are talking about was the given out openly to all that signed up for it on the Star Motorcycles Vmax website. It was basically all the videos from that website compiled on DVD. The only special items that came with the bike were the Unitized book and frame badges. I think the Europeans got a jacket too, but I may be wrong on that. Happy Xmas!

of the developement story of the new vmax.
I got my max in Feb 2009.
I don´t know whether there will be a video for the 2010er

Hey There ! Congrats on the new Gen-2. I ordered a 2010 and my dealer only had a card brochure for me. So I called Yamaha Motor Corp. in Cypress,Ca. Ty in Customer Relations sent me the 2009 hardback Unitized book, the Star VMax Consumer DVD, a big fat Star Accessories book and a several Star motorcycle & parts brochures. The dvd is part #DVD-CONSU-VM-AX and the phone # for TY is (714) 761-7484. Give Em' a Call and GIVE EM' THE BUSINESS ! I'm sure if he has anything he'll send it to you ! Good Luck, Marks9222

In Australia for the 09 we got the DVD of the evolution of the Vmax, personalized frame badges, 3 keys, a book on the designing and story of the Vmax, and a small tool kit.

There was a small tool kit that I think is for removing the spark plugs and front wheel axle?...Not sure have not tried it as yet.
