CaptBob, awesome look. Have you taken out the baffle of the Brocks to see how it sounds.

Capt Bob has, in my humble opinion, the sickest vmax on this forum. Very nice man. I'm jealous.

Washed my bike and took some photos as you do
I use Picassa when I want to show quality pics. Here is the link. plus.google.com/photos/11259824652150237.../5731544421334400673 I installed some Angel eyes in the scoops. I am still to get around to doing the bottom circles |

Like those angel eyes Kris. Did they come the right size or did you have to modify them? Who makes them?

There are many cheap quality LED boards out there Bob's
I had this idea for a long time, but failed to find anything available that suits my application. A few weeks back I came across this eBay listing from a seller called factorykiss. They sell cheap ones also, but I waiting for something that has some waterproofing (not completely waterproof) These are what they call superior quality with plastic over the SMD's. Very nice looking when off as well. No need for modifications. Fit right in. Make sure you buy the 80mm size for top scoop circles and 71mm for bottom scoop circles (note: need 74mm for bottom for a perfect fit, but none exist that I could find). I also wanted red, but having red facing forward on a vehicle in Australia is illegal so I oped for DLR's (daytime running lights) like you find on latests cars like merc, BMW, Lexus, etc ... They are mounted on the outside of the scoop Capt. Very, very bright as I wanted them as daytime running lights for more visibility. I need to take some photos during the day to show the brightness. |
