Went out for a ride yesterday and met up with Scale.
It was a fun day out riding through the Goldfields country. Took some shots by some real old machinery. Max always looks good in these kinds of shots I am still looking for a place where I can take a shot of Mr Max with a mirror effect of a flat lake That would look cool me thinks. Till next time Rick Kris |

Thanks Guys.
Post it up if you manage to get one Randy. That would be cool. I can photochop one, but that ain't the real thing. The challenge is finding a location where you can park the max very close to the water edge (preferably without falling in). Then stand on the water side without causing the ripple effect so you can take the photo If you look closely on above photos the lake reflects the clouds and the land mass a little. That gave me the idea. I enjoy photography as a hobby. |

Yes mate a nice relaxing Sunday ride, there is so much history in the central goldfields as we read at the tower that all the steel was transported by horse and cart up the mountain and no bolts holding it together it was all hot rivited. We have come a long way since then.

Capt Bob: Just don't fall in while trying to take that photo. Would be a shame to get any salt on that beast of yours
Bob: Helen: Yes I am. Rick lives couple of hours away, but we meet up whenever we can. Typical round trip is around 450-500 fantastic kms So much history in Australia. That rusty digger is one of only two that survived in one piece. Abandoned 30 years ago it was used for 25 years to excavate during the gold rush. People still buy 5K worth of metal scanners looking for gold now days I was told. History is amazing ... |
