You know something we don't?
As of Thursday 10/09/08, my bike was still not with a trucking company and Yamaha either wouldn't give info on possible delivery of my bike or didn't have anything from Japan.
As some may know, my order is acknowledged to be the first U.S. order.

Hangarnc hit the nail on the head. The first load of bikes is on a slow boat from china (or wherever) and that little puddle hop takes 3 weeks. I don't care whats inside the containers, it ALWAYS takes 3 weeks to make the journey. Question is, when did it leave?

Let me re-state my original post:

Post here WHEN you have taken delivery of your bike.
Nowhere did I say that anybody had gotten theirs yet. It might be another 30 days or so, but it deserves a thread ready to jump in when you do get yours!
