I figured it was time to do it since I had the wheels off getting the new tires mounted on the BSTs. And you are right, I need to get some miles on them. We are still having some winter weather around here on occasion, yesterday was the first time in a while that it hasn't rained or snowed in several weeks. It rained again today, but they are calling for increasing temps, into the 70's by the first of next week, and lots of sun, so I will be able to scrub those tires in soon. As of now, I only have about 50 miles on them from running around town. So far though, I like them alot!

Wow Buddy you did your Max in a big way love the black out look and yes those are the best sounding chopped Scorpions
dual system , The rear sets the BST's , Mirrors they all compliment the look well i could glad you have it finished Michael
but they really are never done ...........

Little known fact you mention the brownish cases some my not know why they are the way they are in the grand scheme of things Yamaha marketing had a lot to do with the high price of the V Max they felt the bike has to be kept under 700 pounds so the Magnesium cases were anodized instead of being primed and painted to save weight and that was the color the black Anodized finish came out the Ti factory cans and lots of other light parts to keep the weight down.

Ok sorry i hi jacked the thread Michael .
