I was making my rounds tonight & as I pulled in to the parkinglot there was a familiar sight. A HUGE semi with "Star" down the side of it was sitting right where I normally park. So, I eased around to the rear of the trailer and pulled Max right up to the exhibit. Low & behold what's that on the end? 2010 Vmax! Just perfect, so i cruised right up next to it and got off. Ryan Cosby the Florida Yamaha Rep was there and came to say hello. My friend Lee was there as well and couldn't wait to tell Ryan all about our adventures. Ryan loved the look of my bike & quickly got his camera and snapped some pics (including the BAD-VMAX tag) which he thought was too cool, and then Julio ( aka member "JarMax" from Puerto Rico) was there and posed for a few shots. This was a guy that I let sit on my bike way back in December at bike night, and he fell in love & ordered his shortly after. His pride & joy is 2000 miles away in Puerto Rico, so of course he jumped at sitting on the new one. The only problem was my bike got more attention than the 2010 and people were climbing on it, and then realising it wasn't a new one and apologising to me all night.. lol.. It was fun for sure and i grab'd just a few shots even tho it was dark.

It was good to see Julio again and Lee as well.. Oh yeah, Lee also informed me that "The Crew" will be back together at Bradenton the 15th (next Thursday barring bad weather) for Jay Day, and hopes that as many members as possible will make it down to Bradenton. Those Kawasaki jockeys are always ready for a good show down.. Should be a lot of fun..

What do you want me to say? It wasn't a hit, for sure. It''s just TOO damn red and people just gravitated to the darker one all night

I got a LOT of compliments tonight. People just thought it was done up better, and many commented about it. It got more attention than ever before

Sounds like fun. Hey B, Is the bike they are displaying around really a 09 with red tins? I guess the answer to that is that the 2010 IS A 2009 with red tins huh? But the vin tag also has the model year on it. Did you happen to catch a glimpse at it? Im just curious.
