When a french lady meet an US one! 2 years, 1 month ago #1

Rare picture!! Shooted by me in my country of France (West Bretagne)few days ago!

My friend buy this Vmax coming from US.. Now he have to upgrade it, to be ok concerning the french regulations! Big job! Bon courage, Bruno!

Unfortunately you probably mean "downgrading" since(some of the readers might not be aware of) ALL street bikes in France are limited to a maximum of 100 HP!

That correct Pascal! We work together on this "funny matter" to pass the final autority test. The solution should be the PC5 in fact.... Strange use for this device!!

Too bad he has to lose all those HPs!!!!

I thought they were just taxed higher for having 197HP. Really not even allowed in the country??? That totally sucks!!! Come over to the USA our Gov will give you everything you need to survive all you have to do is work for your toys.

I read somewhere that all you have to do to bring it down to 100 hp is to disconnect the abs. They said the ecu automaticly makes it 100 hp. Is this right?

Yes right! That works!

Test A: the abs sensors fw,aft disconected, fuse removed = 100 Hp

Test B: the abs sensors fw,aft disconected, fuse in place = 100 Hp

Test C: the abs sensors fw disconnected, aft connected = 100 Hp
