TOPIC: Santa brought a new HD camera...

Santa brought a new HD camera... 2 years, 1 month ago #1

Nice one! My HD camcorder was always a bit too big and not really weather proof.

Thats changed now:

Now I just need a nice day here in the Bay Area and shoot some new HD video footage.

Cool gift. Have you thought about where to mount it yet? What sort of memory capacity does it have? How long is it able to record?

Thanks.

I have more than 10 mounts. Can go on pretty much any surface.

Just picked up a 32 GB HDSC card worth for over 4h in HD. Played around with resolutions a bit today.

I thing I will go with 720p and 60 frames per second vs 1080p and 30 fps.

Allows for some nice slow motion without loosing any quality.

Oliver...but then you won't be "broadcast industry" spec...gots to have that 1080p/29.97fps...just kidding...congrats on your new toy...put up some clips of the V-Max (hopefully), when the weather clears up, up North there...little luck of that for the next few days...a couple more fronts are coming in from the West...it's even getting COLD down here near the border...it's been 45 at night and 60 during the day...have had to wear a "wind breaker"...CHILLY!!!...
but great riding weather...

Just got home from a first test ride with the new camera. Like what I am seeing in the preview. Just need a more stable mount for one of the setups (camera high up front point back).

Should have something up tonight.

Wonderful! I too was visited by Santa and received the new HD GoPro. Please post anything that you think will be helpful to a HD GoPro owner. My first impression was that it was so tiny.
