In 2005 VMaxBabe, the Beast and I were members of the board of the VMaxClubHolland.

We initiated a attempt to break a Guinnes Book of Records record: A VMax line up.

At the weekend that it happened, VMax owners from all over Europe came to the coast of the city of Scheveningen.
From Friday till Saturday, we picked up many VMaxxers in the city and brought them to their hotels and campings.
Then we had a lot of festivities at the beach with rockbands BBQ's and lots of drinks.

The registration started on Sunday at one of the seaports.
We met a lot of old friends from England, Germany and France and made a lot more from the Tsjech Republic, Sweden Italy, Switzerland,Spain and other countries.

On Sunday the attempt started.
I stood at the start wit an camera, in order to register every VMax.
A friend of mine did the same at the finish.

The president, Erik Gemser sat with officials, a Yamaha executive and a member of the Dutch Parliament in one of the Corvettes that we arranged for this event.

At the finish it really went crowded with bikes and the public.
After the attempt, the Vmaxxes had to pass a ramp in order to park on the quay.

The attempt failed, because of several reasons, but it really was a great happening.
