I think this is a great turnout. Check out all the other categories. The Vmax is right there and its the first year they are doing the vmax.

Also love to older custom Gen 1s. Great to see more and more custom Vmaxes showing up for the contest!

Hey Oliver, After reading the entry guidelines will Star except Gen 1 VMax's ? Wasn't the Gen 2 the only VMax in the Star Line ? Not sure ? Mark

The 1Gen Vmax was sold under the Star Brand too.

Must have been 2002 or 2003 that Yamaha created the Star Brand. Just like Lexus (Toyota), Infinity (Nissan), Acura (Honda) and many more.

this may be true but Lexus is Lexus all over the world but Star is only in USA i think because mine is Yamaha Vmax ???????

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300
I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride and owned one. It's OK I now have my very own VMAX. "24thDec"

Hanshi, If that's the case, does your Max have a Star logo on the the intake scoops ? Or does it say Yamaha ? And if it has the Star logo, was it imported from the US ? I'm not being smart, just trying to learn. Thanks, Mark

hi on the scoops is a yahama logo there is no Star logo anywere on my
Vmax only Yahama it came from Japan

True for Lexus, not so for Infinity and Acura. In Europe those cars are sold as Nissan and Honda.
