what does 7036 mean does yamaha have a reference number for the claim or what?my dealer hasnt produced my claim number or my order form i gave them my deposit yesterday i was told they emailed the rep and their e mail is down and they havent got th response i asked them to phone the rep.im starting to get really pissed off with this i would have ordered somewhere else if i thought this crap would happen.

You must be in Canada, right? Don't worry about the claim number. In Canada it doesn't exist. All you will get is the contract / PO number from your dealer. That number "7036" just happened to be the next number on the dealers carbon copy sales slip paper. If you can, the only real confirmation you can get from them is a print off of your order as it is shown on the YDS (Yamaha Dealer web Site). This print off will reference your PO number with the dealer and will also have your info on it. Trust me, I've been all trough this one already....

thanks mad max i feel a little bit better.i already told them i wanted a copy of the order when they get it.i emphasised that this is limited edition and availability is dropping daily.i want to be absolutely sure im in line.i pulled alot of strings to get this so i dont want my local dealer to let me down at this late time in the process.i figure if the deal is still online there is still availability.on the other hand i dont want to wait a day longer than i need to.... know what i mean??? by the way yes im in canada,things dont work as well here as they do in the real world LOL

hey this is how it happens in canada pay your deposit and make sure you leave your dealer with this document from yamaha note the contract number.this will make your waiting easier being that there is approx 200 units in canada with 40 sold as of 3 weeks ago (thanks mad max).you need to ask for a copy of your electronic enrollment form the dealer might not understand how important it is for you to have this.this way theres no regrettable circumstances come delivery time.
