Gen2 Site

Here is a link to a facebook group for the Gen2 Vmax. There is a link on that site to this site. Maybe some more Canadian Gen2 riders will join it.

Thanks

Just tried it and it worked... must be working as over 15 people have joined since I posted it. And I had no new people join for over a year.

Link did not work for me either. I had to do a "gen 2 vmax" search on facebook. :nerd2:

I just tried it again and it opened up a new tab and took me to the site. Do you have a popup blocker? The one in IE8 will stop it from opening.. but will show you a yellow bar across the top of the IE8 window saying it blocked it. But sometimnes that warning can be turned off and then you will not know it has blocked an open tab request. IE9 shows a warning at bottom I think. Firefox as well should show a warning. For the yellow bar I right click on it and tell it to always allow popups from the sites I know are safe and want to open tabs.

It is a good way to protect you but if you don't know that the bar has a right click menu then you will always have that happen.

Another way is to right click on the link and in the menu tell it to open in new tab. That will usually bypass the popup blocker.

I normally do that for links anyways as i want to keep the main page open to jump back to. That method works great when in Google or other search engines. I open up all the results that look interesting that I did my search for in new tabs then go look at them leaving the google page ready to check more results if I do not find what I wanted. Sure save time and all the back and forth.

Hope this helps.
