I'm working on 50000miles & still luv the ride.. I don't see how you rode the bike just for a short ride in and set it up for the winter.. :nonono:

Going to kill you with a long wait for another ride in the seat.. You shouldn't of tease yourself And if you're going to do mods I would do it in the winter time.

Enjoy & keep lookin' for info about the gen ll..It's all here!

Yeah, the short ride was great, and it stunk putting it away for winter... I had to though. Rode it around the block 2x on Tuesday night. Came home from work Wednesday night to a dusting of snow covering the roads. MN is below normal for snow this year, but it'll arrive. It always does. The good news is that even if it snows like normal from here on out, there will still be less to melt in the spring. :)

OOOhhh... You just reminded me of something I want to do. Take off the little sticker on the faux tank cover. If I bring it inside the house and work on it, I'll take my time and hopefully won't scratch up the paint removing it. ;)

No doubts there! I was in the market for an old Husky 2-stroke (WR390) to replace one I had years back... Couldn't find a good Husky locally, but came across the CR500 and scooped it up. It sure has more power than I can use in the dirt. Around 230ish lbs of bike and they dyno around 55-60 rwhp stock. I guess one could say it's sort of the VMAX of the dirt bike world. Fun bike! :)
