I'd run it, I had a 5.0's "pro" bike back in the day in the 1/8 and 7.90's in the quarter...

I will take a look at some clips of other bikes with good run times again, but I still don't understood fully why they seem not to wheelie. (Maybe it has to do with good clutch work.)

Thanks Art.. There really does have to be clutch slip to get a good launch & a lock up just doesn't allow it

You need Wheelie bars with a lock up clutch..

I wouldn't think that it is all about the additional HP or Torque but how a good rider unleashes that power at the right places in the run...

But like any mod in the world, some may be good, other bad, some that are GREAT and others that are total CRAP...but the good part is that there are OPTIONS available and not isolated to one vendor or location...

Yes, we've come a long ways in 3 1/2 yrs That bike would fair much better at 1/4 mile strip accelerating HARD to the very end

Power Slave, unless you've got wheelie bars, you've got to feather that clucth to keep from flipping over

Doesn't the double d clutch mode prevent clutch slipping as well?
