TOPIC: any suggestions?

any suggestions? 1 year 1 month ago #1

Hello friends, I have to travel to the U.S. in June and I want to buy parts for my 2009 Star V Max 1700 because in Argentina I can not get anything, I was thinking of buying front fork oil seals, brake pads, battery, filters, rear tire, clutch, assuming I to have the bike for many years has any suggestions on what to buy?

I would go to the Yamaha dealer in the city you are visiting and set up an account with them primarly via e mail
have a fundable CC on file and just have them be your source for regular maintenance stuff and the dealers can get most any upgraded part to like performance stuff. You can receive mail and packages right ?

Oh Hammer, you are so right.

I have gone through more tires than I can count on both hands. It's almost like the rubber just falls off as soon as it is mounted on the bike.

Capt. is right CG, just set up an account with a dealer and have them ship you the parts if you can receive packages.

:hmmm:

You can get a lot of the things you mentioned from Tim guruedgear.com/index.php
He has innovative ways to help get parts & accessories overseas.
