Re: Time for Aussie VMAX Group ???? 1 year 1 month ago #11

 A local Aussy group sounds great. I have modified my 2010 vmax for touring with 22.5 litre
fuel capacity.

Yep, Kris is right. Trying to start any sort of social group here seems to be hard going. Before I bought the Vmax I had an MT-01 and was trying to get the Aussies to form a social group and was met with a wall of apathy, even though there are plenty more of MT-01's than Vmaxes here in Melbourne.
I even had a contact from one of our StarVmax brothers who lives 20 mins from me ask me to let him know when we were riding and as soon as I tried to contact him, he went into silent mode and never responded. Weird! :

You guys in the US are lucky, cause there are just so many more of you.

Also, for those of you who have taken a ride with a group of Vmaxes, you know how awesome it sounds and how cool it feels when you cruise through a small town and all eyes turn to look at you!! :jumping: :jumping:

You are not wrong mate. It seems the VMAX is invisible on the roads over here in W.A. I don`t go to bike meets (except drags when I can) because i`m always working away. I have seen 3 since I purchased mine 2 years ago. Some must just buy them, then stow them away for future sales or something?
Pretty weird :focus:

Count me in. I'm up in Darwin so catching up with everyone might be difficult. I am heading down to Phillip Island for the Moto GP this year so would be good to catch up with some fellow Vmaxers then. Unfortunatly wont be bringing the bike down this year.
