Mike D. Why did u go with the bridgestone back tire.. That tire sucks! The Shinko front will help with handling tho.. Just not grip in in the rear tho.. :tounge:

Seriously?!?!? Guess I am outnumbered but I stand firm. I have seen you guys beat to death a discussion about speed ratings on tires. Now its OK to plug a speed rated tire? With the amount of torque it can apply and the speeds it can achieve, No way would I ride a plugged tire on this bike. Only way I would consider it would be if it was properly repaired with a patch from the inside. Even then, I would change it to a new one as soon as possible. Cheap insurance. My life and my $20k bike are worth it. JMHO.

+1 Absolutely :steam: Unless you ride verrry slowwww :rollingno:

Those of you that are so worried about a plug should never have bought a motorcycle to begin with if you don't want to take chances.

Chances? Come on out to my backyard. I'll show you chances. In fact I may give you one or two.

:vomit: Why not put two bullets in the revolver the next time you play Russian Roulette?

I've been known to take a huge calculated risk, not a "stupid chance" with defective equipment.

The internet never ceases to amaze me. Seems stupid to argue over this, may even be the intent. Moving on,,,,, Ba Bye :hi:
