TOPIC: If you could change one thing...

to our beloved beast to when it came stock, what would you change? Within reason of course. Obviously we all would make it meaner and faster but aesthetically, what would you change? I.E. the look of the exhaust, the rust brown color, the horn...

I'll start... I HATE the fact that my Gen 1 turn signals turned off automatically and that one thing didn't make it to the Gen 2. I got so much into the habit of having them turn off automatically that I leave my Gen 2's on ALL THE TIME.

P.S. Sorry if this topic has been started before. I'm kinda new here.

Yup the signals suck, and the gas tank size - another gallon would have been nice. Those are 2 things that are not easy to change, everything else that I/you might like different are simple bolt on changes that everyone has their own opinion on.

My name is Helen, I got my 1st bike in 1973 it was a 650 Yamaha in 1974 I had 2 650 Yamaha's I then got a 850 Yamaha and was the 1st in New Zealand to get the 1100 Yamaha.I have a 2005 xjr1300 I would like someone to buy me a 2009 VMax as I just love the look of this bike and I would love to ride...
