It's definitely for looks, but handling will suffer dramatically..

I will give up some handling for the looks. I like the straight line approach. Phat in the back and Low in the front, with chaindrive, and a supercharger, chromed out, you can't beat that.

im not to concerned with the handling,i have a sport bike if i feel the need to do that.My main reason for asking is that i am installing it on my bike and have a little issue with the install.Hoping that someone else has it on their bike and can give me some input, thanks.

Definitely for looks! That´s right! Handling will suffer, but not dramatically. Depends on what you are able to do with your VMAX. To be able to install the stock rim in the OTEC 300 Swingarms I made an adaptor. If you need assistance during installation send a PM.

I had the opportunity to try it before I ordered it.
And I must say it is not extremely bad compared with the stock tires! The fundamental difference is, that the widewheel wants to go onwards. Means you have to force the bike into the corners. With the stock rims and tires the bike has the tendency to fall automatically into the corners. So this is the way I would describ it. I like this change. Getting rid of it: NEVER! As far as I know it is possible to buy only the swingarms. |
