Dinan
After careful thinkin your right. A 330 is to big on the back. I really love the phat look. I think for common sense and using the reality factor a 18in 240 and a 17in on front chrome, with the 4 into 1, nash flash, monster big air, quick shift, and slammin it to the ground (only 5'8) that should do it. THanks guys for bring me back to reality. I was on Vmax cloud 9, I need to go and see the Dr. |

I think you made a wise Decision.
To add some Facts, I'd like to add some Thoughts on Chain vs Shaft regarding our Bike. A good and well maintained Chain Drive show, depending on which Hardware is used, show at 3.3 to 4.2 Percent Loss. We saw a Average of a tad more than eleven Percent Loss on the Drivetrain on the 2Gen VMAX. So, the actual Difference between Chain Drive and OUR Shaft Drive is around seven Percent, not the ten Percent Difference mentioned above. Granted, that's a Lot when you try to wring this seven Percent Increase out of an Motor for Racing Application, but if you look at other Numbers, like, a neglected Chain Drive can drive up it's Loss up to 15 Percent, as an higher-up Engineer from BMW said in a M/C Magazine, i'd choose a Shaft for my every Day Ride any Day. 0.3 Liter final Drive Oil per Year and it's all said and done. When i'm out with my Friends on amulti-day Ride, i see them lubing their Chains every Morning, I smile and have another Cup of Coffee .... Don't get me wrong, i'm not against Chain Drive, it does have it it's Advantages, but it's just not for me and i don't think it belongs to a VMAX. |
